WHERE IT ALL BEGAN FOR AMY:

I have always known I wanted to make an impact on this world, but didn’t know how until I found my passion in nutrition and fitness. This all began in high school when I started running cross country. As I began to develop as a runner, I realized that the food I ate affected how I felt on and off the trails. As I began to take control of my nutrition and fitness, my image of myself changed. I felt empowered and accomplished things that I never could have imagined. I began to be proud of who I was and that seemed to seep into every area of my life. At that time I realized the positive impact I could have on this world was helping others take control of their health by eating in a way that supports their goals.

I was the kid that kicked my feet to the side when I ran and ate strawberries dipped in sugar (like a lot of sugar) as a snack… so yea… there is hope for you too!

If I could travel anywhere I would go to any beach, Italy or Greece.

My mom taught me the basics of cooking, but Cooking Light Magazine taught me how to really cook.

My favorite races are half marathons and Half Ironmans. I haven’t done a full marathon or Ironman, but I likely will at some point!

Favorite Ice Cream: chocolate anything. The more chocolate the better!

My daily staples are peanut butter, chocolate milk, bananas, apples, carrots, eggs, and yogurt.

I am terrified of snakes!

My husband, Kevin, and I started dating in high school and have been best friends since.

Some of My Favorites

Elizabeth Abbey | Registered Dietitian

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN FOR ELIZABETH:

Growing up on a wheat farm, food has always been part of my daily rhythm of life. I played sports growing up and ran cross country and track through college, but it wasn’t until I had the opportunity to work with a sports dietitian during a physiology internship in graduate school that I saw the impact that proper fueling can have on performance and health. I also discovered that I love teaching and working one-on-one with individuals to help them meet their unique goals while also looking at the long game of fostering a healthy relationship with food.

Lori LaVoie | Registered Dietitian

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN FOR LORI:

Some of my most cherished childhood memories involve cooking and baking alongside my mom, learning to create meals that were both delicious and nourishing. My mother’s philosophy around food for wellness was passed on to me from an early age and helped lay the foundation of my own nutrition philosophy.

As a teenager, I faced challenges with food intolerances and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), along with struggles related to body image and an unhealthy relationship with food. These experiences, while difficult, sparked a personal journey toward healing my gut and developing a positive connection with food. My healing process ignited a deep passion in me for nutrition and food as medicine. Today, I’m dedicated to helping others support their health and vitality through balanced eating and joyful movement.

Jessica Lovell | Registered Dietitian & Certified Personal Trainer

A young woman with long red hair smiling in front of a beige wall, wearing an orange turtleneck.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN FOR JESSICA:

Movement has been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a small town in Minnesota, I spent my childhood outdoors: waterskiing, ice skating, playing backyard sports, climbing trees, and simply exploring nature through activity. In junior high, I dedicated myself to cross-country, basketball, and track. As I pushed to become the best runner I could be, I developed some unhealthy views around food and struggled with under-fueling. The resulting fatigue, injuries, and poor performance became a turning point. That experience sparked my interest in the connection between nutrition and performance and inspired me to help others avoid the same pitfalls.

I am deeply passionate about the synergy between nutrition and exercise. I strive to help my clients understand, fuel, and challenge their bodies so they can perform their best, whether they're training for competition, aging healthfully, or simply wanting to feel their best every day.

Macauley Devin | Certified Personal Trainer

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN FOR MACAULEY:

Since I was young, I have always known that I wanted to go into the medical field. I loved the idea of being an active part in someone's health journey and as I got older, I realized how important food and exercise played a role in that. I was fascinated with the fact that ~80% of all chronic illnesses are preventable through lifestyle interventions, and I quickly realized that I wanted to take part in both disease management AND prevention. In college, this led me to pursue the field of dietetics. As I have continued down this path, I have realized that exercise and nutrition so often go hand in hand, and I fell in love with the idea of combining both of my passions into a career. Upon passing my credentialing exam, I hope to practice as a Registered Dietitian, integrating both nutrition and exercise science to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care that supports clients in achieving their health and performance goals.

Marianne Green| Registered Dietitian

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN FOR MARIANNE:

Marianne's approach is different. She takes the time to understand the full picture of what you are going through - not just the clinical details, but the real-life context behind them. Whether she is helping someone navigate digestive concerns, improve their relationship with food, or work through other nutrition challenges, clients often say it is the first time they have felt genuinely heard when it comes to their health.

With a special interest in gastrointestinal health, Marianne enjoys helping clients uncover the root causes of digestive symptoms and build realistic, sustainable strategies that support both their gut health and overall well-being. That combination of clinical training and human connection is rare. And it makes a difference in the outcomes people get.

She also loves the teaching side of this work. Helping someone understand their own body, not just handing them a plan but helping them actually get it, is what keeps her energized about what she does.
